Book Fair Potato Character Display

Bring in a potato dressed as a favourite book character.

How do I enter?

Buy a potato or get one from home. (We will have a few available in the office if you can’t find one at home).

Decorate your raw potato like a character in a story. It can be a nursery rhyme, a fairy tale, or a fiction book, any book you like.

Stand the potato up. You can use an upside-down disposable glass with the bottom cut out of it, or anything else that will hold it in place.

of the book, your name (first & last), your grade and your teacher’s name.

Your creation must be able to fit in your backpack to be carried safely on the bus.

To be entered into the contest, potatoes can be brought to school on Monday 21 to Thursday 24

Potato characters will be displayed during our Scholastic Book Fair from Monday, September 21, to Thursday, September 24.

Any potatoes not picked up by PA day, Friday, September 24, will be disposed of.

Random draws from student entries will be made for Scholastic Book Fair prizes daily.

Staff are also encouraged to enter - let’s see who is more talented, the staff or students!

Scholastic Book Fair:

Monday, April 21 - during afternoon recess
